Chris Gentry started Kingdom Skateboards, Inc. in 1995 while still
competeing in professional skateboarding. The marketing campaign
then consisted of a skateboard spaceship known as the Galactic
Skatecraft that traveled through the Universe searching for unknown
fantasy skate spots.

The Kingdom Satellite was launched in 1996. In 1997, the first ever
Low Rider Skateboard Car was introduced to the skateboard scene
"Hittin Switches", followed by:

a Longboard Skateboard Limo with a Texas hot tub, and then came the
Skateboard Monster Truck . All the skateboard models were built and
hand crafted by Chris Gentry.

The concept of Kingdom Skateboards was built on fantasy in reality.
The main logo consisted of a circle shape with half the world a
cartoon drawing of a sun and water on one side representing fantasy
and the other half was a drawing of the real world representing
reality. The slogan was “Skateboard Your World”.

The shield logo represented music & skateboarding with the
world on a microphone. CG also built and hand crafted all his own
trade show booth’s and models for magazine ad’s, as you can see
below at ASR San Diego in 1996 with the Kingdom Castle trade show
booth and Transworld advertisement.

The Kingdom Trade Show Booth was built in 3 weeks in my driveway in
Costa Mesa, CA. in 1996 solo style. It had 50 flashing lights and
it was 20' long by 2' thick by 8 feet tall made out of particle
board, 2x4's, woodscrews, paint and sticker paper. All the models
were displayed around the booth and you entered the booth to place
an order through the N. A lot of hard work but somebody had to do
it. Ridaz Gotta Build! CG

The Kingdom Ad with Jason Womack was a futuristic look of
displaying the Castle board, the Satellite board, Floating in space
board, Tail Grab board, skatecraft and Fantasy Logo Ripple board.
The Skateboard Your World catalog had Shoeing Gum grip tape, Rock
Star Wheels, Sticks and Stones skateboarding hardware, a Calender
and Big Baller Bearings.

The Kingdom Skateboards caveman series had a Tas Pappas Tattoo
board, Train Graffiti board, Bill Weis Pro Model, a Tom Boyle Pro
Model, a Space Discovery board, Skull board, Dragon Rider board,
Missing Link board, Chris Gentry Monster Truck and Low Rider
Skateboard Cartoon Cars boards, a Player board and a Medallion
board all up for sale in 1999.

The Low Rider Skateboard Car Catalog in 1998 was had a Diamond
board, a Cap Boy board, a Mac Moon board, an Environmental board, a
Graffiti board, a South Side board, a Space Discovery board and a
Kingdom Astro board. Kingdom board graphics stood out clean and
simple with a space age twist.
